Start your tour of Knappy Links from the Patio, home of the traditional 1st tee. A firm running pitch to the left center of the green will roll straight up the hill and into the hole. Pull it a little and you’ll roll off the crown to the left and get caught in the rough. Push it a little or hit it too easy and you’ll catch the hill rolling down to the right. With the right line, trajectory, and speed, this hole is imminently makeable, just about as easy as they come on Knappy Links.

Caddy’s tip: If you can resist the temptation to go for a 1, pitch a little short and left to leave yourself an easy uphill putt for a 2. (#8 handicap)
