Aces are rare on this most difficult hole, so a 2 is a very good score. Anything on the green is a good shot because you’ll most likely have an uphill putt. The practice tee mat gives you a tight lie so it’s hard to hit the ball high and soft—the percentage shot is to bounce it in with a lower trajectory. You can’t bail too far right because of the post for the driving net, so watch out for rebounding balls.

Caddy’s tip: Take your chances and try to bounce the ball out of the rough near the center edge of the green, just to the left of #2 tee. (#1 handicap)
